Having played in groups such as such big water, Mannequin Radio, Maia Toakley, Ned Olive, The Sweetharps, Bonetwister and Apache to name a few, Sydney/Eora’s Billy May has decided to embark on a solo music journey. Inspired by songwriters like Fiona Apple and Jeff Buckley, Billy’s songs evoke bittersweet feelings of love and loss. He has spent the latter half of 2024 cutting his teeth on the Sydney live music circuit. Having his music gig-tested heavily playing alongside acts like Beryl, Lee Sullivan, EBS and Grace Turbo, he went into ‘The Confectionary’ recording studio in Newtown in October to start working on his debut release which is set to be released in early 2025.

HEAPS GRASS (Lachlan Mills, Jack Rosenzweig and Ebony Tait) are an experimental folk trio based in Eora/Sydney. Although they are a relatively new band, they already have a unique sound, combining written and improvised material within their music, exploring themes of nostalgia and nature in their soundscapes and lyrics. Their latest single 'Technicolour' is energetic, lush and fun - the lyrics focus on the feeling of being care-free and joyful in life. They look forward to releasing their next single next month.
